Minor surgical procedures.
We offer safe, precise removal of common skin growths with minimal discomfort and quick recovery.
Mole Removal
Moles are pigmented skin growths that can appear anywhere on the body. While most moles are benign, some may change in size, shape, or colour over time and require medical evaluation. At Aeon Clinic, moles are removed surgically or with laser depending on the size, depth, and nature of the mole.
- Moles that have changed in appearance
- Moles in cosmetically sensitive areas
- Moles that catch on clothing or cause irritation
- Those who simply want them removed for aesthetic reasons
Cyst Removal
Sebaceous cysts are small, non-cancerous lumps that form beneath the skin, often on the face, neck, or trunk. While they are usually painless, they can become infected, inflamed, or grow larger over time. Surgical excision removes the cyst along with its wall to prevent recurrence.
- Cysts that are growing in size
- Infected or repeatedly inflamed cysts
- Cysts causing discomfort or cosmetic concern
- Those wanting a permanent solution rather than temporary drainage
Corn Removal
Corns are small, hardened areas of thickened skin that typically develop on the feet due to repeated friction or pressure. They can be quite painful, particularly when walking. At Aeon Clinic, corns are removed precisely with minimal impact on the surrounding healthy tissue.
- Painful corns that affect walking or daily activity
- Corns that have not responded to conservative home treatment
- Recurring corns requiring a more definitive solution
Skin Tag Removal
Skin tags are small, soft, benign growths that hang off the skin, commonly appearing on the neck, underarms, eyelids, and groin area. They are completely harmless but can be irritating or cosmetically unwanted. Removal is quick, precise, and leaves virtually no marks.
- Skin tags in visible or cosmetically sensitive areas
- Tags that catch on jewellery or clothing and cause irritation
- Multiple skin tags that are bothersome
Wart Removal
Warts are small, rough skin growths caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). They can appear on the hands, feet, face, or other areas of the body and can spread if left untreated. At Aeon Clinic, warts are treated with precise surgical or laser removal for effective and lasting clearance.
- Warts that are spreading or multiplying
- Warts in painful or inconvenient locations
- Those who have tried over-the-counter treatments without success
- Anyone wanting quick, effective, and permanent removal

Everything you want to know about
Minor Surgical Treatments.
No. A local anaesthetic is applied to the area before the procedure begins, ensuring a completely pain-free experience. You may feel slight pressure during the removal, but no pain. After the procedure, mild discomfort similar to a small cut or graze is normal for a day or two and can be managed with simple over-the-counter pain relief if needed.
Scarring varies depending on the size, depth, and location of the growth removed. Our specialists use precise techniques designed to minimise scarring as much as possible. Most minor removals heal with minimal to no visible scarring, particularly for smaller growths like skin tags and small moles. Larger or deeper removals may leave a small, fine scar that fades significantly over time.
Most minor surgical procedures heal within 1 to 2 weeks. During this time, you can continue with your normal daily activities, though you should follow the aftercare instructions provided. Stitches, if used, are typically removed within 7 to 10 days. Full healing and any residual redness settling can take several weeks to a few months depending on the individual and the area treated.
When growths are removed properly with complete excision, recurrence at the same site is rare. Cysts removed along with their wall typically do not return. Warts caused by HPV may recur elsewhere or new ones may appear if the virus is still present in your system. Skin tags and moles do not typically recur once removed, though new ones can develop in other areas over time.
Removed tissue may be sent for histopathological examination (biopsy) if there is any medical concern or if the growth has unusual characteristics. This is a standard precaution to rule out any underlying concerns and confirm the diagnosis. Your specialist will discuss this with you during consultation if it is recommended in your case.
